Who determines the budget each year?
Who selects the leaders, committees, and teams for this network of churches?
Answer- The Executive Committee
Each church in the Cape Fear Network of Baptist Churches is allowed 2 voting members on the Executive Committee.
They meet once a year to discuss and recommend the Proposed Budget, the Nominating Team Report, and any business matters of the Network.
Those matters are then voted on by the messengers to the Annual Celebration.

Community Evangelism
As an Elder/Deacon, I know our churches continually pray that God will open doors of opportunities to spread the Gospel in our local communities. He did just that on July 7th. On that day, our governor signed legislation permitting Release Time for Religious Instruction for all students in public schools in our state. It's time for churches and Christians to RUN through that Divinely opened door.
LifeWise Academy provides Religious Instruction to public schools off school property in 34 states including North Carolina. It is coming to New Hanover County Schools very soon and expanding throughout the state. Through LifeWise, churches can Mobilize members to Connect, Unite, and Partner within your local community.
The LifeWise curriculum comes from The Gospel Project and being the largest denominational group in the Cape Fear Region, it is time for Baptist churches to take a leadership role in assuring that LifeWise starts and expands across our Region. We should also take leadership in working with all churches to assure that children can again learn from the Bible during the school day.
